Starting April 8th and running until April 30th, marketers can answer the question “What Does Social Media Marketing Mean to You?” by uploading a video or photo and essay to www.ad-tech.com/theanswer.
At ad:tech San Francisco, attendees can have their answer videotaped at the ad:tech / V:social booth located en route to the keynote room on April 15th, 16th and 17th.
Marketers, brands, companies and the media will be able to vote on the best answer. The winner will receive a Social Media Campaign (just like this one) from V:social (a value of $50,000).
To win, entrants can encourage their colleagues to vote for their answer. The V:social technology allows users to click a button and send the entries to colleagues and friends via email or instant messenger, embed them in outside blogs and websites, post them to Digg!, del.icio.us, Facebook and Myspace, which creates a viral, word-of-mouth marketing campaign.
